This introductory class will teach you basic pinching, coil building and slab building which provide a foundation for all other projects in this series. You will make and glaze vessels using all three techniques, focusing on form and finish. Ages 12 to 120.

Public health precautions will be observed. Social distancing, masks as prescribed by city guidelines.

Classes are taught at Clay Hand Studios, 660 Van Ness, Fresno CA 93720

Parking on the street is free after 6 pm.

Students are encouraged to bring their own handbuilding tools: pony roller, fettling knife, sponge, pin tool, metal rib, plastic rib, modeling tools, texture mats or rollers, and scratcher/fork. Make sure your name is on everything in sharpie! You may want to wear a smock, work shirt, or apron.
